Elliott has over 30 years of public accounting experience and has served a wide range of clients, from Canadian corporations to multinational organizations. Elliott led the public company audit practice for Mintz & Partners LLP (a major regional accounting firm) from 1989 to 2008. In 2008, Deloitte & Touche acquired the public auditing practice of Mintz & Partners, and Elliott continued to lead Deloitte’s audit practice for entrepreneurial public companies in the Greater Toronto Area. As a partner leading the provision of services to small and mid-sized companies, initial public offerings and public company audits, Elliott worked very closely with boards as they dealt with challenges and successes. Furthermore, Elliott acted as the advisor to many small and mid-size enterprise boards as they have navigated difficult issues both with internal situations, as well as the external market. Elliott is a CPA, CA, and has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration.
